RusingÂcademy is looking for qualified teachers of French as a second language and English as a second language to work with Canadian public servants and private companies. We are looking for individuals capable of teaching at all levels. We offer part-time and full-time positions.

RusingÂcademy is a language teaching, coaching, creative and innovative company in the field of adult and children's learning. Rusing cademy believes that it is high time to make big changes and make a break with traditional teaching and language learning; by offering methods and tools that meet the demands of the moment: online courses to save time lost in travel, the use of ICT in the language classroom and the pleasure of learning.

Qualifications, skills and experience required: 

​

  1. Face-to-face teaching.
    To succeed as a French as a Second Language teacher at Rusing Cademy, you must:

​

  • Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Teaching French as a Second Language or equivalent. In the case of a degree obtained outside Canada, only a certificate of equivalency issued by a recognized organization, attesting that the degree is equivalent to credits granted in Canada, is accepted.   • Be organized in your pedagogical approach;

  • Experience with the Canada School of Public Service program (My Account);

  • Have excellent organizational skills;

  • Have a dynamic and enthusiastic personality;

  • Be bilingual (intermediate English);

  • Have at least one year's experience teaching public servants ;


 2. Online education:

We have the same expectations as in the classroom, but with the added bonus;

  • Having a quiet, isolated place to do the work.

  • Have a working knowledge of computers and e-learning tools

  • Have the necessary equipment (computer, microphone, camera, high speed internet)

  • Be autonomous and have excellent communication skills.

  • Be versatile and available to give face-to-face classes, if needed.

  • Be authorized to work in Canada 
     

3. What we offer:
Depending on your availability and preferences, we offer stable and flexible working hours

Hourly rate: $28.50 to $32.00/hour

Locations: Ottawa-Canada
