Why Online Courses / FAQs?

Our 7 key values:

- Versatility

We plan every class meticulously, as any good teacher should. However, the online platform and its versatility allows for the quick access and sharing of materials during class, as and when it is needed.

We can also work on a deeper level, with the ability to share and simultaneously edit documents for your work or studies.

- Flexibility

We understand the demands of the modern-day professional. Due to this, we offer an outstanding level of flexibility regarding attendance, course planning and learning outcomes.

Collaboration

We specialize in French as a Second Language(Government French), French for specific purpose (Corporate French) and French as Foreign or Second Language (Family French), but in order to tailor your learning experience to be both manageable and relevant, we consider collaborative planning and real-life relevance fundamental.

Transparency

Trust is essential whenever a service is being provided. To aid this, we ensure full clarity with our clients with regard to pricing, payment and cancellation policy.

Measurable Progress

It's important to know that you are getting value for money and achieving your goals. For this reason, we offer a variety of means of analyzing progress if so desired.

These range from traditional testing methods, to more modern concepts, such as recording samples of the students' conversational fluency at different stages of the course, for analysis in-class.

Eco-friendly

Our completely online presence means that we are able to reduce our paper use to almost 0%.

FAQ's

  • I've heard that online and phone classes aren't as beneficial as face-to-face, is this true?

As with everything, both types of classes have their strengths and weaknesses.

Online classes give the versatility to source and share materials at a pace that can't be matched in traditional 'F2F' classes.

With the lack of travel time involved, as well as the speed of communication in an industry that is completely online, we can offer a much higher level of flexibility to suit the unpredictable, modern professional lifestyle.

  • And what about the use of materials and note-taking?

These days almost everything you see in class will have come from a website or a language book. Literally everything can be passed on to the student online, through all available platforms.

Regarding note-taking, this is something that is a huge 'pro' of online classes, as it is possible to keep conversation histories in the platforms (where the examples, explanations and corrections will be given) and shared documents can be created, in which both teacher and student can view and edit as the classes and course progress.

  • What do you mean by 'tailored' classes?

Everybody that comes to us will have their own differing levels, strengths, weaknesses and objectives.

Some people need to focus on a specific area, some desire to improve specific aspects of their professional (CVs, presentations etc) or personal (travel, integration into new social groups) lives, taking government exams and some just want to chat and improve generally.

Our task is to ensure that, regardless of your goals and the form that the classes take, what is learnt and how it is communicated dictates value and progress.

If either the teacher or student feels that effective, measurable progress isn't being made, then we aren't doing our job properly.
